Role Title: Digital Marketing Intern – Social Media Content Planning and Website Audit
Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)
Location: West Perth
Working within the Marketing and Community Relations team at MercyCare, this role will be responsible for completing two key projects during this internship and a range of ad-hoc marketing tasks will provide broad experience.
Project 1 Social Media Content Library and Calendar In line with our social media strategy you will develop a library of content ideas to match the content pillars and present a 12 month content calendar to the marketing team at the end of the project. The intern will be supported by the Marketing & Communications Coordinator to fully understand the business and goals of the social media strategy. The project will include (but not limited to) copywriting, research, identification of relevant key events and campaigns and working with designer to develop graphics. Social media channels include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Project 2 MercyCare Website Audit Our MercyCare website and its content was updated in early 2021. The intern will complete an audit of the content and establish a process for an annual review, ensuring content is always up to date, accurate and optimised for SEO and user experience. Liaising with various internal stakeholders, you will coordinate a review of our website content and implement approved updates via the back end of the website. Intern to be supported by Marketing team to ensure all website content is accurate and document the process followed including content contributors to aid with future audits.
