Role Description

We commit to building relationships with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community that are built on mutual respect, trust and inclusiveness.
The intern will build knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, organisations and stakeholders in the local area local area and develop a stakeholder list. The role involves researching local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture - establishing links with City of Gosnells to tap into their knowledge. The intern will work closely with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents involved in the Aboriginal committee and plan for Elders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents to read books and share stories about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures.
