Role Title: Client Journey Mapping Intern
Organisation: Circle Green Community Legal
Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: East Perth
The intern will produce a high quality Report (title and scope to be determined by the Principal Lawyer) that will provide a detailed overview of how clients with different legal needs are assisted in the Workplace Stream with a view to analysing ways of improving or expediting their journey.
The Report will also importantly analyse what type of work is being done by staff of different levels (eg Administration team (Level 2), Advocates (Level 3), Intake and Triage Lawyers (Level 4), Project Officers, Key Worker (Level 3 or 4), Supervising Lawyers (Level 6) and Senior Lawyers and Project Manager (Level 7) as well as the members of the team who do work for Working Women’s Centre of WA.
The Workplace Stream at Circle Green Community Legal (Circle Green) provides free legal services to clients who have employment related legal issues. Employment law is complex by nature and staff with varying levels of seniority supervise other staff who provide legal advice to students. Clients often get different services depending on their circumstances and legal needs and it is important to figure out the most appropriate and efficient way of providing services due to limited resources within the team and the high demand for the services of the Workplace stream staff.
To have the client’s journey mapped would help Circle Green to see whether there are any ways of improving our service delivery to improve the client experience.
Circle Green is a community legal centre in Western Australia providing state-wide specialist legal services in employment, residential tenancy law, family and domestic violence, and migration services aimed at assisting people who are otherwise disadvantaged in their access to legal services.
