Role Title: Research Intern, Local Government Employee Attraction and Retention

Role Description

We are seeking an intern that would conduct a research on behalf of LG Professionals WA to understand what strategies have local governments put in place over the past 2 years with a challenging labour market. Deliverables include:
- Conducting desktop research and engaging with all WA local governments virtually - Conducting survey if deem appropriate - Some face to face engagement if deem appropriate (this might require some regional travels but the student will also be accompanied by the supervisor) - A report outlining the findings - which will then turn into a best practice guide - A presentation to the Board outlining the findings
