Role Title: Planning Intern

The Programming Intern will assist with the day-to-day delivery of activities at the Centre for Stories. With a focus on planning, events, administration, and logistical support, the intern will participate in a dynamic and engage workplace. Tasks include event planning, outreach in phone calls and emails, research into itineraries and activities, meeting with writers, partners and other stakeholders. The role also involves general communications support and documenting program outcomes. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, with strong communication and planning skills, and an interest in aesthetics and ethics.
Founded in 2015 by John and Caroline Wood, the Centre for Stories is an inclusive literary and cultural organisation that uses storytelling to inspire, empower, and connect. Focused on cultural diversity, we support underrepresented storytellers and writers in Western Australia, fostering skills, confidence, and social change through shared stories.
