Role Description

As part of the University Access Plan Review (UAAP-RARWG 01/2025), the UWA Academic Inclusion, Accessibility & Learning team is seeking an intern ideally with lived experience of disability or carers, ideally with a current University Access Plan (UAAP), passionate about disability access and inclusion, to contribute meaningfully to the review process.
• Working days would be Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays from 9:00-4:00pm - particularly from Tuesday 11 Nov to Tuesday 16 Dec. • Interns will be sharing the office with the supervisor, as well as using other meeting areas, embedded within UniAccess, Student Central and the broader Student Equity and Success team. • Student should bring their own laptop if possible, and agree to communicate via their student email for the duration of the program. The Academic Inclusion, Accessibility and Learning Team is looking for students who: • Are passionate about access and inclusion for students with disability • Are comfortable working in collaborative environments • Have strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Are confident in articulating ideas and experiences • Demonstrate good organisational and research skills • Show potential as natural leaders and contributors to inclusive change
