Role Description

This internship offers an opportunity to review and enhance the online presence of Local Government Professionals. The intern will assess the existing website’s structure, design, and content to identify areas for improvement in accessibility, engagement, and user experience. Recommendations may include content updates, improved navigation, and strategies to better showcase resources and initiatives relevant to Local Government professionals.
In addition, the intern will develop a comprehensive social media planner to strengthen communication and outreach across platforms. This will involve researching best practices, identifying key audiences, and designing a practical content calendar that aligns with organisational goals and events. The role suits a student with an interest in digital communication, website usability, and strategic social media planning.
