Role Title: Website Development Intern
Organisation: Swan Districts Senior Citizens Centre Association
Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: Bellevue
Swan District Senior Citizens Centre Association requires an intern to update and develop our website, making it more user friendly and accessible for our community. The intern will liaise with all stakeholders to ensure the website meets the needs of the organisation.
If there is time, the interns will also work closely with staff from Swan District Senior Citizens Centre Association to facilitate training sessions learning how to use various electronic devices, such as mobile phones and tablets.
This is an exciting opportunity for an intern who is keen to support elderly community members in their quest to navigate the digital world.
This is currently under review, however the Association is Incorporated and exists in its current format to provide assistance for seniors to follow the State Govt Strategy of being able to:
- thrive physically, mentally and spiritually
- live in safe and age-friendly communities
- stay connected and engaged
- have views that are heard
