UWA students’ work underpins new tools for reporting sexual assault

A new online tool that will be integral to the Worksafe Mines Safety Share program for reporting sexual assault and harassment is being launched today at an industry summit, after being developed by UWA students earlier this year.

Karla seeks to inspire young women and effect change through STEM after Minor in Active Citizenship

Karla Ivkovic is a UWA Engineering Science student, specialising in Software, and recently completed the Minor in Active Citizenship through the McCusker Centre for Citizenship. While she finishes her Bachelor degree, she is also keeping busy interning part-time as a software engineer, and volunteering. Karla shared some of her perspective on her study, her active citizenship journey, and her passion for STEM.
