Role Title: Grants and Fundraising Research Intern

Short Back & Sidewalks is a national charity based in Perth that gives free haircuts to people experiencing homelessness and poverty. We have recently adopted a new fundraising strategy, with a focus on philanthropic support, to help us build capacity and grow our services to meet increasing demand nationally. We are seeking an intern who can assist with philanthropic research, including on high-net-worth individuals, Trusts and Foundations and can assist with grant writing and development of tools to help deliver on our strategy. This position will work closely with the CEO and will interact the Fundraising sub-committee of the Board.
Short Back & Sidewalks gives free haircuts, free of judgement to people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Through the act of giving free haircuts, Short Back & Sidewalks is creating positive connections with vulnerable and marginalised community members to build a stronger and more inclusive community.
