Role Title: Project Intern
Organisation: South Metropolitan Health Service
Internship Period: Winter (June - July)
Location: Murdoch
This internship will support the Sustainability lead within South Metropolitan Health Service. The primary focus of the role is to document completed and in progress sustainability related projects and initiatives using a standardised project closure template. The intern will review existing project information, engage with project leads where needed, and consolidate outcomes, lessons learned, and key achievements into clear, consistent documentation.
The intern will work closely with the Sustainability lead, as well as project managers, clinicians, and operational staff who have been involved in delivering projects across the organisation.
This role is well suited to a student interested in sustainability, health systems, or project management, offering practical experience in project evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and structured reporting.
