Role Title: Executive Project Management: Intern to help build PMO and operating model

We are establishing a Project Management Office for the whole organisation. All the below will be with guidance and oversight from the Governance and Risk team and tailored to suit the abilities of the intern
Process Architecture: Interview stakeholders to capture current workflows and map them into standardized BPMN diagrams.
PMO Foundation Build: Draft initial governance frameworks, intake processes, and standard templates for future project tracking.
Software Implementation: Assist in selecting, configuring, and testing project management software to establish the new PMO infrastructure.
Dashboard Development: Leverage digital skills to design, build, and maintain data-driven dashboards and automated action trackers.
Organisational Mapping: Analyse company hierarchy and department mandates to help design the overarching organizational chart.
Operating Model Support: Research and assist in designing a scalable target operating model that aligns with company culture.
Meeting Support: Coordinate alignment workshops, document detailed minutes, and aggressively track cross-functional action items.
Data Synthesis: Convert business updates into clean, executive-ready slide decks and performance reports.
Ad Hoc Support: Manage internal documentation repositories, user permissions, and general administrative needs as the PMO evolves.
The City of Nedlands is situated just 7km from Perth and stretches from the banks of the beautiful Swan River to the edge of the Indian Ocean.
