Role Description

The intern will work in the Strategy & Partnerships Division within the Department of Communities to support the development of the new WA
Carers Strategy, with a particular focus on consultation planning and preparation. The intern will assist the Carers policy team to build an evidence base, support/coordinate planning and design of consultation activities, and help prepare various strategy development assets. The role will provide hands-on experience in government policy development, consultation design, stakeholder mapping, and professional writing. The intern will primarily engage with internal Department staff, as well as external stakeholders to support consultation planning and logistics.
