Role Title: PCH Audiology Database - Advanced Scope Intern
Organisation: Child and Adolescent Health Service
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Nedlands
The Advanced Scope Audiology Clinic at PCH is a new project aimed to decrease ENT waiting times by upskilling audiology staff to support ENT in the management of common ear conditions. We now have a Redcap data management system to record data related to the client cohort, common conditions and outcomes. This will facilitate more timely research into hearing outcomes and help identify areas of missing data more effectively. The system would also allow the team to track patients hearing journey more efficiently. The team would appreciate some assistance from an intern to support our new database and create some reporting templates to review and report on the outcomes and success of the program.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service is part of the Department and has a vision, values and strategic objectives for 2018 - 2023 to achieve healthy kids and healthy communities for Western Australia.
