Migration services and support
Help and support for refugees, people seeking asylum, people in immigration detention and other migrants in Australia.
The intern will build their knowledge on the functions on the below tasks by working closely with the Employment Team/Migration Support Services team:
- Data synthesis on reports about providing services to trace and reconnect families who have lost contact as a result of international or internal conflict, war and disaster
- Support migration programs and services which protect and uphold the health, dignity and well-being of vulnerable migrants
- Assist and explore migration services and support programs
By having an understanding on how different areas of the Migration Support Services team functions, the intern will collect information and relevant data to make recommendations to the organisation on service improvements.
