Role Title: Marketing, Communications and Event Support Intern

The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) organises an annual gala event to celebrate achievements of young people (aged 10-25) and the youth sector that supports them.

About the role:
In this role, you will help YACWA develop social media posts that encourage people to submit nominations for the awards, along with other promotions related to the awards. This could include preparing notes for radio interviews, writing copy for e-newsletters and media releases, developing a promotional strategy, and other tasks. You will also be asked to assist with some minor event-related tasks.
You will work in a team that covers Advocacy, Policy, Communications, Marketing, and Event Planning, so will be exposed to a variety of subjects.
