Role Title: IT and Data Systems Intern Professional standars: Standards & Monitering Unit Boorloo Perth

Organisation: Department of Communities

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)

Location: Perth

Role Description

The Standards Monitoring Unit (SMU) is a team of 16 responsible for monitoring Residential Care Services and Child Protection Services for
the Department of Communities. We are in need of an outward facing (internal to Communities) SharePoint page, in addition to an inward facing (for our team's use) SharePoint page. The external page would provide information to other areas within Communities about the work of the SMU, and what to expect when collaborating with us, or being monitored by the team. The internal page would provide information and links useful for team collaborating, in addition to data collection on the work of the team. The key purpose of this role would be to understand the work of the SMU from both and internal and external perspective, and create a functional and informative SharePoint page. The Data Analyst intern will utilise the SharePoint Platform to create the page, in addition to creating multiple forms to capture data on the work of the SMU, which will ultimately be used to validate resourcing, provide reports, and a Power BI.
