Role Title: Digital Project Intern – Internal NDIS Compliance System
Organisation: National Disability Services (NDS)
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Canning Vale
The intern will join a supervised project team developing an internal software system for an NDIS registered provider. The system is intended to help the organisation manage aspects of its ongoing compliance, quality and registration responsibilities, including requirements connected with the NDIS Practice Standards.
The intern will support a defined part of the project rather than being responsible for developing the software. Their work will primarily involve learning about the relevant internal process, helping prepare test scenarios, testing selected software functions and documenting their findings for the project and IT teams.
The placement will provide practical experience in a live digital project involving technology, disability services and organisational compliance. The intern will work alongside staff with NDIS and technical knowledge and will receive regular supervision and guidance.
Because the project is confidential, detailed information about the system and its functions will be provided after the intern commences and completes the organisation’s confidentiality requirements.
National Disability Services (NDS) is Australia's peak body for non-government disability service organisations, representing over 1100 non-government service providers. Collectively, NDS members operate several thousand services for Australians with all types of disability.
