Role Title: Project Intern
Organisation: Thriive WA
Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)
Location: Salter Point
Ready to dive into the digital treasure chest of our organisation? As our Project Intern, you’ll play a key role in transforming how we manage and understand our information. Your mission: explore our existing database, help extract and tidy up important data, and smoothly transport it into our shiny new FileMaker Pro system. Think of it as moving house—but for data—and you’re the hero making sure nothing gets lost, broken, or left behind!
You’ll gain hands‑on experience analysing patterns, improving data quality, and ensuring everything ends up exactly where it should be. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with our program and admin teams, learning directly from the people who use this data every day to support our projects, programs, and community spaces. You’ll be chatting with friendly staff, asking curious questions, and becoming the go‑to person for understanding “where our data lives and why.”
If you love puzzles, enjoy organising information, or get a small thrill when a spreadsheet finally makes sense—this role is for you. Join us and help build a stronger, smarter data future!
Thriive WA, formerly Edmund Rice Camps for Kids WA, provides life-changing respite programs for 'at risk' and disadvantaged WA children aged 7-16 and their families - many of whom wouldn't otherwise have such opportunities.
