Role Title: Task Risk Assessment Intern

This internship sits within the Human Resources function and will support a workplace health and safety project focused on developing Task Risk Assessments (TRAs) across a range of roles within the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Human Resources Business Partner and consult with employees and managers from across the organisation to understand work activities, identify potential hazards, and document workplace risks and controls. This may include administrative, customer service, hospitality, events, and other operational roles. The role provides practical experience in workplace health and safety, risk management, stakeholder consultation, and organisational compliance within a not-for-profit organisation supporting veterans and their families.
This placement is suitable for students studying Work Health and Safety (WHS), Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Human Resource Management, Risk Management, Business Management, Hospitality or Event Management, Psychology (Organisational), or a related discipline with an interest in workplace safety, compliance, and risk management.
