Role Title: Marketing Assistant Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: West Perth
The Marketing Assistant Intern will support the Healthy Mind Menu team across marketing, communications, events, and community engagement initiatives focused on mental health and wellbeing within the hospitality industry.
The intern will assist with tasks such as creating social media content, supporting campaigns and awareness initiatives, helping prepare newsletters and promotional materials, researching partnership opportunities, assisting with events and workshops, and contributing to storytelling that highlights the impact of Healthy Mind Menu programs.
The intern will primarily interact with the Healthy Mind Menu leadership team while gaining hands-on experience within a purpose-driven organisation working to create healthier and more supportive hospitality workplaces across Australia.
Healthy Mind Menu is an industry-led initiative that recognises a key ingredient in hospitality is its people.
We strive to improve lives and normalise conversations around mental health for those working in WA’s hospitality industry.
We contribute to the community by caring for the industry, providing educational training, and building camaraderie amongst hospitality workers.
Top chefs, leading hospitality industry figures, and mental health advocates joined forces in 2018 to create Healthy Mind Menu Inc. It was formed to identify and address mental health issues in the workplace and investigate ways to better support the mental wellbeing of WA’s hospitality industry staff.
