Role Title: Women's Wellbeing Program Development Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

As a Community Development Intern with Mettle Women Inc., you will contribute to the development of programs that promote women's mental health, social connection and personal empowerment. This project-based role offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge in a community setting while gaining valuable experience in program design, stakeholder engagement and community wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
Work with the Program Coordinator to review and amend a Women's Workshop Program, including developing workshop content and assisting with implementation planning.
Research evidence-based approaches to support women's mental health, resilience and wellbeing.
Assist with the design, development and evaluation of community wellbeing initiatives.
Develop resources, activities and educational materials that promote positive mental health and personal growth.
Consult with staff, volunteers and community members to identify emerging needs and opportunities for new programs.
Assist in developing participant feedback and evaluation tools to measure program outcomes.
Support community engagement activities, events and promotional initiatives that encourage women's participation.
Contribute to project planning, documentation and reporting.
Undertake other project work aligned with the student's interests and the strategic priorities of Mettle Women Inc.
To provide safe & sustainable recovery pathways for survivors of domestic & family violence through employment & financial security.
