Role Title: Physical Literacy Week Content Creator

Role Description

In 2025, KIDDO launched Australia’s first-ever Physical Literacy Week for early childhood services. The initiative was a great success, engaging more than 450 services across the country.
In 2026, KIDDO plans to expand Physical Literacy Week to include families, primary schools, and early childhood education and care services. This internship will support the continued growth of the initiative through the development and sharing of engaging content to promote Physical Literacy Week and encourage educator participation. The role will also involve exploring potential partnerships and sponsorship opportunities, assisting with campaign planning and coordination, and supporting the delivery and promotion of the launch week activities.

KIDDO is an innovative online program designed to build the capacity of educators to develop children’s physical literacy, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and motivation to be active for life. Focused on children aged 0-12 years, KIDDO supports educators, parents, and coaches with evidence-based resources, lesson plans, and professional development to improve fundamental movement skills and the confidence to be active. KIDDO is predominantly an online platform using innovative technology that is accessed and used by schools and early learning services across Australia and internationally. In addition, the KIDDO team deliver a small number of in person programs and workshops around WA and Australia. KIDDO aims to inspire a lifelong love of movement and improve children’s overall health and wellbeing.
