The role is to provide mathematical and statistical support to The Play Matters Collective, assisting with the analysis and interpretation of research and evaluation data. The role includes supporting data cleaning and management, conducting basic statistical analyses, creating tables and graphs to present findings, and contributing to reports and presentations. The student will work collaboratively with the project team to ensure data is analysed accurately and presented in a clear, meaningful way, while gaining practical experience applying mathematical and statistical skills in a community-based research environment.
The Play Matters Collective (PMC) is an affiliation of organisations and individuals with a shared vision to ensure children’s and young people’s right to play is supported across all levels of the Western Australian community. The PMC mission is based on the principle of using collaboration in the pursuit of positive change and seeks to work with all levels of the community with a mutual interest in supporting children and young people’s fundamental right to play to promote their learning, healthy growth, and development.
