About the Internship Raine Medical Research Foundation is seeking a motivated Prospect Development Research Intern to support its fundraising, prospect development and marketing activities. The intern will undertake research to identify potential philanthropic, corporate and grant funding opportunities and assist with developing resources to support the Foundation's future fundraising and marketing activities. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in prospect research, philanthropy, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, research and communications within a medical research organisation. Key Activities Prospect and Funding Research Research potential philanthropic supporters, trusts and foundations, businesses and other organisations that may support medical research. Identify grants, funding programs and philanthropic opportunities that align with the Foundation's objectives. Research potential supporters' areas of interest, funding priorities, previous giving and eligibility requirements. Identify potential corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities. Develop and maintain a prospect research database or spreadsheet. Prepare concise profiles and summaries of potential prospects for the Foundation's consideration.
