Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to help grow the Lyn Beazley Academy's online presence. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and community engagement while working alongside a passionate team committed to education and impact.
The successful candidate will assist in planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across our social media platforms, helping to tell the Academy's story and connect with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop engaging content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels as appropriate.
Create graphics, short-form videos, reels, stories, and other digital content aligned with the Academy's brand.
Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.
Write compelling captions and adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms.
Attend Academy events to capture photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes content.
Monitor engagement by responding to comments and messages where appropriate.
Research trends, hashtags, and best practices to improve audience engagement.
Track and report on social
