Role Title: Asset Maintenance Management Project Intern

The Asset Maintenance Management Intern supports the Facilities and Asset Management team in delivering projects that enhance the planning, maintenance, performance, and lifecycle management of assets across North Metropolitan Health Service. Working under the supervision of experienced asset and facilities professionals, the intern contributes to initiatives that improve asset reliability, maintenance planning, compliance, and operational efficiency within a complex healthcare environment.
This internship provides practical experience in asset management, maintenance planning, project coordination, data analysis, and continuous improvement while supporting the delivery of safe, reliable, and sustainable healthcare infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of documentation.
Support the collection, validation, and analysis of maintenance task lists from documents available online or in hard copy.
Assist with updating forms to current version, adding data to excel, and verifying information to ensure alignment with Australian Standards and best practice.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance planning activities and monitor maintenance schedules.
Contribute to condition assessments, asset inspections, and lifecycle planning initiatives.
Assist in analysing maintenance performance, asset reliability, and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations
