Role Description

The Path of Hope Foundation (“POHF”) is a Rotary initiative supporting the work of The Salvation Army and raising awareness of healthy relationships and family violence prevention. POHF works to help break the intergenerational cycle of family and domestic violence through community engagement, advocacy, education, awareness campaigns, events, and collaborative projects involving Rotary, business, volunteers, academia, and the wider community.
The Social Media and Events Intern will support the planning, coordination, promotion, and delivery of digital content, campaigns, events, and community engagement activities connected to POHF initiatives and projects, including The HOPE Report (www.rotarypathofhope.org/hope/the-hope-report). This role offers practical experience in content creation, storytelling, event support, communications, social media management, digital engagement, branding, and campaign coordination within a purpose driven community organisation. Interns may assist with social media scheduling, Canva content creation, photography and video support, copywriting, website updates, event preparation, stakeholder communications, marketing materials, reporting, and community engagement activities. Interns will work collaboratively with supervisors, mentors, fellow interns, volunteers, and stakeholders within a professional and supportive team environment.
