Role Description

ADHD WA has recruited significant new staff in the last 12 months.
There is a strong need to improve our human resource policy and processes, including the grievance process and induction, as well as curation of mandatory training for all new and existing staff. This Intern will work with the leadership team to revise existing policy and expand and develop it in line with learning and feedback gained from the expansion of staff numbers in the last 10 months. As a small organisation many aspects of human resources exists with individual staff and the benefit to ADHD WA is to be able to regularly use human resource policy which leads to a consistent employee experience and promotes engagement and retention.

The ADHD WA mission is to provide support, advocacy and expert information to members, adults, families and people affected by ADHD and related conditions, to advocate on their behalf and to work collaboratively with others to ensure availability of services.

The team strongly believes that the more people will receive proven, evidenced-based information, the easier it will be to reduce the stigma surrounding ADHD and increase the life quality of ADHD community.
