Role Description

The Project Intern will support a program of work focused on improving youth mental health in regional Western Australia. Working with the Youth Mental Health team, the intern will: (1) conduct an environmental scan and service mapping exercise of youth mental health services, programs, and community organisations across regional WA, and (2) contribute to a literature review of current evidence relating to regional youth mental health needs, service access, outcomes, and best-practice approaches.
The intern will primarily work with researchers and project staff and may engage with publicly available information from community organisations, health services, government agencies, and not-for-profit organisations. The outputs will help inform partnership development, stakeholder engagement, service navigation resources, and future youth mental health initiatives.
