Role Description

The Event Planning & Marketing Intern will play a hands-on role in helping deliver the Youth Week WA 2026 Closing Event in April. Working alongside YACWA’s Communications and Events team, the intern will support key planning tasks and help bring the final celebration of Youth Week to life.
This role will assist with event logistics, coordinating suppliers, managing registrations, preparing run sheets, and supporting accessibility and youth-friendly considerations. The intern will also help with marketing and promotion, including drafting social media content, creating simple digital assets, and supporting outreach to partners, youth organisations, and participants. This internship offers practical experience in delivering a large-scale youth-focused event, building skills in coordination, communication, and creative content development. We’re looking for someone organised, enthusiastic, and excited to help shape a vibrant, meaningful celebration for young people in WA.
