Role Title: IT and Data Systems Intern

As Chief Technology Officer, the intern oversees a diverse suite of software systems across multiple case teams at WAUC. They manage over 50 consultants’ Microsoft 365 accounts and coordinate technical operations across six active case teams using platforms such as Microsoft Entra and the Microsoft Admin Center.
The role also involves running technical upskilling workshops for our consultants using tools like Think Cell, enhancing their ability to deliver visually impactful and data-driven presentations. Additionally, I manage our organisation’s website domain and intellectual property, regularly updating and customising its content using HTML and CSS.
They lead initiatives to improve our digital infrastructure, including the implementation of email security software and the successful transition of our organisation’s MS Records. And also serve as the primary technical advisor, assisting consultants with tech-related challenges throughout their cases.
Future work involves working with our executive board to strengthen WAUC’s technical capabilities for nonprofit clients. This includes developing Excel-based financial models for a textile upcycling Not for Profit, exploring automation solutions, and preparing AI feasibility reports for a food rescue charity. These are just a few examples of the growing technical support WAUC provides.
