Role Title: Staff and Volunteer Learning Designer Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Victoria Park
The intern will be working directly with Hello Initiative's leadership team to research, design and build a self-paced leadership learning curriculum for staff and volunteers, hosted on Google Classroom. This is an end-to-end project from understanding organisational needs and reviewing best practice in learning and development, through to designing, building and testing the final curriculum.
Day-to-day, the intern will be engaging with staff and volunteers to understand current capability gaps and learning needs, then translating that into a structured, accessible leadership trail. The work draws on skills in instructional design, stakeholder engagement, research and project management, making it a great fit for someone interested in learning and development, organisational capability, or not-for-profit leadership in the community sector.
Our mission is to improve the social and judicial outcomes for young people involved in criminal justice in Western Australia. We do this by providing support relevant to the real world.
