Role Title: Stakeholder Engagement & Consultation Support Intern
Organisation: Ethnic Communities Council of WA
Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: North Perth/ remote tasks
Our stakeholder engagement & community consultation event planned for 29 September.
• Scope: Pre-event research and outreach; drafting invitations and stakeholder lists; assisting with logistics and registrations; day-of support; and post-event data collation, feedback analysis and a short outcomes summary.
• Learning outcomes: Exposure to community engagement practice, event coordination, stakeholder mapping, and reporting.
• Supervision: Executive Officer (Jahnvi Singh) with support from Admin
The Ethnic Communities Council of Western Australia, established in 1975, has been providing advocacy services for multicultural groups and communities in Western Australia for over 44 years and is a member of the national Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia (FECCA). Our mission is to work with member non-government stakeholders for a fair and just society, one in which all people are encouraged to participate fully in the life of the community and are supported to reach their full potential, where diversity is valued and people live in harmony.
