Organisation: SensesWA

Internship Period: Summer (November - December)

Role Description

SensesWA is a leading not-for-profit organisation that has been providing disability services to the Western Australian community since 1895. Every day, we support children and adults with a wide range of disabilities to reach their full potential.
To support this vision, we are seeking a Corporate Governance and Compliance Intern to assist with a comprehensive review and renewal of the organisation's policies, procedures, and governance documentation. Working closely with the Quality team and Company Secretary, you will help ensure organisational policies and procedures remain current, compliant, and aligned with best practice governance standards. This project will play a key role in strengthening organisational accountability, supporting regulatory compliance, and enhancing the effectiveness of our governance framework. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate governance, compliance, policy management, and organisational quality systems within a values-driven not-for-profit organisation dedicated to creating positive community impact.
