Role Title: Neuroscience Marketing Intern

The Neurological Council of Western Australia is seeking a motivated and curious 3rd or 4th year intern to support our mission to improve the lives of people living with neurological conditions. Working closely with our Marketing & Communications Manager, you will help create engaging, accessible content that raises awareness of brain health and promotes our NeuroCare, NeuroKids, NeuFriends services and Headache & Migraine Clinic across WA.
In this role, you will research and develop content on neurological health topics, interview interview topic experts, and contribute to digital communications including social media, newsletters and website updates. You may assist in planning and delivering community engagement activities — such as distributing collateral to medical clinics and hospitals, coordinating event invitations and supporting event setup and logistics.
The Neurological Council of WA is the peak body for the Western Australian neurological sector and works in collaboration with research, health and disability professionals and organisations to champion brain health and increase community awareness, understanding and management of neurological conditions. We are also funded by WA Health to deliver Neurocare, our Community Neurological Nursing and Health Navigation Service.
