Role Title: Evaluation Intern: Healthway Parenting Programs, Stories of Impact

Meerilinga Parenting Service delivers evidence-informed programs that support the wellbeing of parents, infants and young children across Perth. We are seeking an intern to assist with evaluation and impact communication for our Healthway-funded programs, including group-based parent support and early years community connection initiatives.
The intern will work alongside experienced practitioners and report to Parenting Services Manager to analyse participant feedback, identify key themes and outcomes, and help translate evaluation findings into accessible reports and marketing content.
Note - Sunflower group is for women and those identifying as female only. This role is therefore best suited to a female candidate.
Key Tasks
* Review and collate participant evaluation data.
* Assist with analysis of qualitative and quantitative feedback.
* Identify key themes, outcomes and participant stories.
* Support the preparation of evaluation summaries and reports.
* Develop impact-focused content for newsletters, social media, presentations and stakeholder communications.
* Assist with creation of simple infographics and visual summaries of program outcomes.
Meerilinga is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity that promotes the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child; working with children, their families, early childhood professionals, planners and the community to raise the status of children in Western Australia. Meerilinga’s association with children dates back to 1911, to the pioneers of the kindergarten movement and the early learning advocates for children’s interests in this state.
