Role Title: Marketing & Fundraising Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Location: Nedlands

Role Description

This internship will support the organisation’s marketing and fundraising activities across Semester 2, with a focus on community engagement campaigns and fundraising initiatives. The intern will assist with promoting events such as A Walk in the Park through social media content, electronic direct marketing (EDM) journeys, supporter communications, and donor thank-you activities.
The role will also involve contributing to website updates and design improvements, researching online fundraising platforms and digital fundraising strategies, and helping develop fundraising pages for campaigns running throughout the year, including seasonal appeals. Additional projects may include researching merchandise and promotional ideas that would appeal to or support people living with Parkinson’s. This opportunity would suit a proactive and creative student with strong communication and organisational skills who is interested in marketing, fundraising, community engagement, or digital communications. Prior marketing experience is not essential, as the intern will be supported to learn on the job.
