Role Description

This opportunity sits within the Information Technology and Digital Services team at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, supporting initiatives that improve business systems, data quality, service delivery and digital capability across the organisation. Working closely with the Assistant Director and the broader team, successful candidates will assist with analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting projects that enhance operational efficiency, reporting, data governance and customer outcomes. The role provides practical exposure to stakeholder engagement, business analysis, process optimisation, digital service improvement and technology-enabled transformation within a complex government environment. Responsibilities may include supporting system reviews, documenting business requirements, analysing data, developing recommendations and contributing to initiatives that improve the delivery of corporate and digital services. Additional development opportunities are available across contemporary ICT disciplines, including business analysis, application development, solution design, enterprise architecture, business architecture and digital strategy. Participants will gain exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives that support the integration, modernisation and optimisation of corporate functions, helping drive more connected, efficient and effective government service delivery.
