Role Title: Desktop Research Intern 02

The intern’s role primarily involves conducting desktop research and applying legal and analytical frameworks to the study of family violence and healthy relationships within national and international contexts. A key focus of the role will be contributing to The HOPE Report, a long term initiative examining legal frameworks, prevention approaches, policies, projects, and societal responses connected to family violence across various countries.
Interns will apply theoretical knowledge, research capability, critical thinking, analytical skills, fact checking, and comparative research methods developed through studies in disciplines such as Law, International Relations, Political Science, Criminology, Human Rights, Public Policy, Psychology, Sociology, Data Science, Communications, or related fields. Responsibilities may include legislative and policy mapping, project analysis, international comparisons, and supporting broader prevention focused initiatives connected to Path of Hope Foundation projects.
Throughout the internship, interns will engage with mentors and guest speakers from professional backgrounds including governance, academia, business, leadership, and community services. Interns will also participate in educational and trauma informed sessions connected to family violence awareness, including insight from staff at The Salvation Army regarding frontline support services and community responses.
