Role Title: Marketing & Communications Intern for ACRTC

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: UWA Crawley Campus
The Australian Centre for RNA Therapeutics in Cancer (ACRTC), based at the School of Human Sciences at UWA, was established in late 2023 to drive innovation in cancer treatment through RNA-based therapies. A key pillar of the Centre is the RNA Innovation Foundry (RIF), a state-of-the-art facility for mRNA manufacturing.
As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will help strengthen ACRTC’s stakeholder engagement and online presence by creating content that raises awareness of our research services and initiatives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating content (images, designs) for various marketing materials, such as brochures and newsletters
- Conceptualising and creating post content (stories, videos) for digital platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Liaising with UWA media team to improve and update website content.
You will work closely with the ACRTC and RIF team, and the ACRTC's Consumer Advisory Group (CAG) comprising consumers and people with lived experience who provide advice and help share ACRTC’s stories with the community.
To bring together RNA and cancer innovators, pro-actively collaborating with oncologists, consumers and patient advocates, to uncover new insights and develop new therapies.
