Role Description

An exciting opportunity for an intern who is keen to support elderly community members in their quest to navigate the digital world. The interns will work closely with various Team Members from Switched on Seniors to facilitate weekly training sessions learning how to use various mobile devices. These training sessions will provide insight on what is needed, how things can be improved and how to measure impact. The intern will have an opportunity to evaluate the Switched on Seniors model through their own experience of using the model with older people seeking help with their phones and tablets and to see how it fits with research findings. They will also have the opportunity to compare it with other models in common use supported and guided by the Switched on Senior team members.
Note: The training sessions are facilitated in three different locations, the intern will require a car to travel to the locations and they need to be available on either Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.
