Role Title: Digital Connections for Seniors: Program Design & Grant Writing Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Role Description

The intern will work within the Centre to design a community digital literacy program for older adults as part of a live grant funding application. The primary focus of the internship will be developing an evidence-based program that aligns with the Building Digital Skills Grant requirements, including program design, participant engagement strategies, implementation planning and outcome measurement.
Throughout the internship, the student will research community needs and best practice, consult with key stakeholders across the organisation, and develop a grant-ready program that can be implemented if funding is secured. The intern will primarily interact with management, staff and volunteers to understand service delivery capabilities and will contribute to a project that aims to improve digital confidence, social connectedness and access to technology for older members of the community.
