Organisation History Intern

Role Title: Organisation History Intern

Organisation: Luma

Internship Period: Winter (June - July)

Location: Northbridge

Role Description

This internship sits within Luma's Fundraising and Events team and contributes directly to our 50th anniversary legacy project. The intern will research, compile, and document the history of Luma (Women's Health Care Association Inc.), a not-for-profit organisation with nearly five decades of service to women's health and wellbeing in Western Australia.
The intern will work closely with Luma's Fundraising and Events Lead and will engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and beyond, including internal teams, board representatives, and external community members. As a representative of Luma, the intern will be expected to communicate professionally and respectfully at all times. The outcome is a written historical record that captures Luma's story. It will honour our people, purpose, and place in Western Australia's women's health landscape. It will be contextualised against the key moments and movements of the past 50 years—those that shaped women's health, advocacy, and the diverse communities we serve. This record will become a trusted and lasting artefact within Luma, available for use and ongoing maintenance into the future.
