Role Title: UniIT SharePoint Hub Enhancement and Content Migration Intern 1

UWA’s IT team is continuing to enhance its modern SharePoint Hub, creating a central, well-structured destination that connects key IT content, news, resources and delivery information for staff. Building on the Hub established through earlier internships, this project will focus on developing the Solutions Delivery area as a clear, useful and well-governed destination for UniIT staff and University stakeholders, while migrating high-value content from older decentralised SharePoint and Teams sites into the new Hub. As an intern on this project, you will:
Work with Solutions Delivery staff and other UniIT stakeholders to understand their communication, information and document-management needs, and translate these into a clear site structure, navigation and content model.
Help design and configure the Solutions Delivery site, including a refreshed home page, current initiatives, delivery framework, templates and tools, key platforms, team contacts, news and highlighted content.
Identify, assess and migrate priority documents and pages from legacy decentralised sites, applying agreed naming, metadata, ownership and review-date conventions to improve searchability and ongoing maintenance.
Assist with content quality checks, plain-language rewriting, user testing and simple guidance materials so Solutions Delivery staff can confidently maintain their site after the internship.
