Role Title: Community Engagement Officer
Organisation: GriefWise WA Ltd.
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Tuart Hill
The role will be directed at improving grief literacy in the community.
This will include reestablishing grief support for young adults, engaging in promotion, and delivery of community events, as well as expanding current services, possibly in the digital mode.
Assessing efficacy of current and potential services.
At GriefWise WA, we support individuals as they navigate their grief.
Every type of grief is valid, and everyone deserves understanding, and support during these times.
Much like the Banksia tree, which regenerates, and thrives after bushfires, grief is a process of resilience, renewal, and transformation. We too can emerge from devastation, with a deeper connection to our own inner strength.
Through counselling and group sessions, we provide a compassionate environment, where individuals process grief at their own pace.
Our group sessions are offered on a donation basis as part of our commitment to making support accessible to all.
