Role Description

As a Researcher and Data Analyst Intern, you will support this key project at Outdoors WA:
Building a database of organisations including: activity peak bodies, outdoor education providers/RTOs, government departments, tourism operators and trail and land managers. The aim is to create an extensive and over-arching view of who and what the WA outdoor industry is. What You’ll Do: Research & Data Collection • Research organisations: mission, purpose, audience, contact details. • Engage with industry stakeholders, including outdoor associations, tour operators, and local councils. • Research different sectors and of the industry. Content Development • Organise findings into a clear, accessible document and outdoor industry map Who You’ll Work With: You will collaborate with the Outdoors WA team and industry stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone interested in outdoor recreation, research, data management and mapping, offering hands-on experience in both research and data organising. Your contributions will directly support outdoor recreation and industry strategic direction.
