Are you a skilled writer with a passion for securing funding for meaningful causes? Join us as a Grant Writing & Sponsorship Officer and help us secure essential funding and support through grants and sponsorships to sustain and grow our vital community programs.
Our charity is based on a self funded model. We can't rely on government or corporate funding as they are highly unpredictable and unreliable
In this role, you will:
Research and identify potential grant and sponsorship opportunities from foundations, government bodies, businesses, and community organizations
Write compelling grant proposals, sponsorship pitches, and tailored applications
Assist in preparing budgets and required documentation
Build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors and funding partners
Collaborate with team members to gather impact stories, data, and information for submissions
Track, report on, and evaluate the success of funding applications and partnerships
Support compliance and reporting for successful grants and sponsorships
What we’re looking for:
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft persuasive content
Experience in grant writing, sponsorship, fundraising, or partnerships
Excellent research and communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
