The Service Delivery Refresh program brings together a range of projects that all have the common goal of ensuring Person Centred Service Delivery that is fit for purpose to meet client demand and Government expectations.
The work focuses on the development of the existing Child Protection Cost and Demand model that influences funding for new child protection positions as part of the state government budget process.
Activities include:
• Use macro econometric models, developed by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and identifying and applying adjustments to develop forecasts of the economic and socioeconometric demand drivers to child protection
• Business analysis of the legislation and policy agreements that guide child protection requirements, identifying the true demand requirements for child protection services.
• Exploring an approach to allocate FTE to activities and track shifts in FTE data; to inform understanding of required FTE to deliver programs and influencing factors.
The Department collaborates to create pathways that enable individual, family and community wellbeing. What we do has far-reaching impacts across all aspects of society. Supporting wellbeing can mean many things including ensuring children are safe, helping people access a home, or creating diverse and inclusive communities.
