Role Description

The Australian Centre for RNA Therapeutics in Cancer (ACRTC), based at the School of Human Sciences at The University of Western Australia, was established in late-2023 to drive innovation in cancer treatment through RNA-based therapies. A key pillar of the Centre is the RNA Innovation Foundry (RIF), a state-of-the-art facility for mRNA manufacturing.
As a Digital Engagement & Content Intern, you will help strengthen ACRTC’s online presence and stakeholder engagement by creating content that raises awareness of our research and initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing a digital communications plan for the year; - Creating digital content for social media, website and e-flyers/newsletters (Interviewing staff, gathering updates, and writing clear, engaging stories about projects, achievements, and events); - Designing visuals and layout for the digital platforms (images, graphics, videos) - Liaising with UWA media team to improve and update website content. You will work closely with the ACRTC and RIF team, and the Consumer Advisory Group (CAG) comprising consumers and people with lived experience who provide advice and help share ACRTC’s stories with the community.
